For those who care, not a single morsel crossed my lips from yesterday’s haul. And, my scale still hasn’t budged in over a couple of weeks. I hate it more than ever.

You didnt have any? Now that is self control at its finest! Proud of you!
Way to go for having the self control over those chocolates! Losing weight is very frustrating! I know first hand. Keep it up, dont be discouraged. All of your hard work will pay off in the end!
I'm proud of you. Now, step away from the scale and change up a lifestyle - drink more water or have more veggies or something, give the scale a break and go back to it. Sometimes the body need a jolt to shift the weight out!!
The scale is pretty much an evil machine that never seems to be logical. Way to go on resisting the treats.
My mom was having trouble losing weight and was following a 1200 calorie diet and walking daily for 30 minutes. She has hypothyroid disease and a slow metabolism. She did that 3 weeks and didn't lose a pound. This week she started some diet (I think it's called the flat belly diet) that really is just a 1550 calorie plan that incorporates a monounsaturated fatty acid into every meal - so avocados, peanut butter, walnuts, almonds, canola oil, olive oil. In 3 days she's lost 2 pounds. I'm not sure if it's the higher calories convincing her body she isn't starving or if the good fats are really helping.
I think of myself as though I'm a pretty typical hipster kinda gal. I feel like I'm younger than I am and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up. For now, I'm working part-time "for the man," but more importantly, I'm a mom to a daughter, The Little Miss (TLM) and a wife to The Husband. We live in an area of the country where being anything bigger than a size 6 is considered unacceptably large and in a town where movie stars live.
I've always been the Big Girl. Growing up it was because I was taller and "big boned." Now I'm the Big Girl because I'm fat. At one time I loved being the Big Girl but now, not so much.
This blog is my way trying to be a part of a community that can help each other through our struggles to be who we really are. For me, it's still being a Big Girl just not of the fat variety.

Don't let it stress you. It will move, sometimes takes longer then we like. Great job on not slipping up.
Way to go resisting temptation. Your body is better off, even if the scale isn't showing it.

sorry it isn't cooperating! Maybe time to shake things up a bit?
Wow, that is self control.
Great blog!
You did really well to keep in control, the scales will get with the programme soon enough. Don't lose heart. We do care :-)
Don't stress...the scales WILL catch up to your motivation and willpower!
Well done for resisting temptation! Your body will catch up...
Thats amazing self control! Don't worry, your body will catch up. Results are not instantaneous.
So impressed! That's awesome.
Ignore the scale right now- you're doing fantastic. (Feeling good and being healthy is way more important than a random number on the scale).
Wow, that's will power!!
I'm sure if you keep it up it'll come off.
The greatest key to success is consistency!!
