Is This What She Thinks About At Night?

The Bride is doing her job just splendidly. She’s driving me insane, but it is her wedding. I got a call yesterday from her and she’s rethinking the blue bridesmaid’s dresses because she thinks there might be blue curtains in the room where the reception is going to be held. These are the same blue dresses that she really liked on-line when we were together over President’s Day weekend. The same blue dresses I just happened to find on sale, the same blue dresses I happened to find 4 of, all in the right sizes for the bridesmaids and the same blue dresses I bought for everyone because it’s what she liked.

Maybe there’s something bad about wearing blue dresses in Washington DC.

they're nice dresses, too! They look like they could be easily worn again.

...I don't envy you one little bit

So funny the teeniest details that matter to in the planning of a wedding.

Gorgeous dresses. Hope it all works out, with or without them.

Blue dresses in Washington DC - you are wicked! Good laugh. But the first ones are really nice. Bridesmaid duty is never easy, is it?

I love the dresses, she should stick with them. Too funny about the curtains and the dress color. You know how the guests aren't supposed to wear white because that's the bride's color? When everyone found out that I was wearing royal blue, you should have seen how many guests had on blue! It was hilarious! Tell the bride to lighten up and enjoy life. Good luck and don't go crazy in the meantime. Lol.

The bride is way over thinking the details, but it's easy to do when wedding planning. Mine was a simple wedding, and yet thinking back I wonder why I fussed about some things so much. Self distraction from stress, I guess!

Tell her no one will notice the matching curtains & dresses, and, even if they do, they'll think it was A) on purpose and very well coordinated, and/or B) they will never mention it to the bride and she won't have to hear about it!
