Now I'm really paranoid about being in public! I suppose this woman already knows what she's doing is bad for her. I think public humiliation might do her even more harm. From my point of view, we all reach our own respective bottoms and can only rescue ourselves FOR ourselves - not because of what someone else thinks. My mother was after me for years to lose weight and it only made things worse for me.

I don't agree with it at all.

I'm already paranoid about being seen with an ice cream cone, and I weigh considerably less than 400 lbs. Still, it doesn't help me when I think people are seeing the fat chick enjoying an ice cream cone with that good looking guy (my husband is definitely the better looking one) and thinking "wow she should lay off the ice cream or that hot dude is gonna walk away"

screw someone who thinks they have a right to judge someone who obviously has underlying issues - as if telling them "that's going to kill you" is going to help.

PS I'm in a bad mood today. Sorry.

Im in the place right now where the toddler has lots of questions about EVERYTHING and asks them LOUDLY.

The article gave me flashbacks to a recent target trip...
