This is Me

Earlier this week I was messing around with my new iphone and I took this picture of myself. At first glance it took me aback. I didn’t understand that that image was me. I don’t think I look like that. To me, that picture looks like a representation of what I think I look like. It’s like an artist’s study of an object before the real picture is painted. It’s an eye opener to look at pictures and see what other people see. The image in my mind is not what transposes into pictures. I believe we all view ourselves differently than how other people see us. I just hope what people see is beneath my skin, beyond the freckles and deeper into my soul. Because the real me is not what’s on the outside but what I keep within.

Love it! It's almost like when you hear your voice and think "that's not what I sound like!"

Great post today!! It is so very true, no matter what you think you look like, others always see you differently. Most of the time they see past the outward apperance an look straight into your heart! Thanks for the insite this morning!

What beautiful eyes you have! Well, one eye anyway. I assume the other one is the same. :)

I love your freckles, I have a lot of them too!

For me, how I feel on the inside that day is how it reflects on the outside. I truly believe people do see what is reflected on the inside.

Freckles are beautiful. I love mine. I know what you mean about pictures not looking like you thought. And your right, we should always look beyond the skin, the most beautiful person could be ugly on the inside. Love your brown eyes. Maybe we'll get a whole face next time. LOL That's the beauty about us all blogging, it's always our inner beauty that shows.

It's nice to put a face with the words. You have beautiful eye(s). I have freckles too - and wrinkles and graying hair. I haven't posted my picture yet because I can't reconcile the image that's in my head to the one that keeps coming up on the camera. Some day soon tho...
