Pray for Rain

Again, the sound of helicopters flying above. The wind howling. Smoke. Ash.

Glued to the television, waiting for news. Do we leave? Stay? Bags are packed.

Friends call to offer their home to become ours if needed.

We wait, knowing we are ready for the unknown.

Wish I could send all the rain we're having your way. It looks like you are in major need of it. Stay safe.

Holy hell - that's so scary. Take care and be ready to bug out if necessary. Hope it all works out for the best. I'll be praying for you.

I hope that everything will be okay! I can't even start to imagine how scary that is.

On another note--never, ever want to be in another wedding unless it's mine!!!! I would totally do what you did and go somewhere beautiful with a handful of close family and friends.

Hang in there!

That is a frightening picture. Put your packed bags in the car, just in case. I hope it rains. Take care.
