I got this email from The Bride over the weekend. I totally had to laugh, because is it not funny how your perspective changes when the shoe is on the other foot. I was complaining about the same things to myself about her wedding when she had no challenge about the amount of money people were spending to go to her wedding.
Read it and laugh with me.
We are trying to figure out our fall schedule right now. My cousin is getting married in Laughlin NV in October and I really want to go. The bummer is that they are doing it in Laughlin (adds a rental car and an additional couple hours of travel to the already long trip) and a few weeks before Thanksgiving, so it's tough. I figure it will cost us around $1200 for a super fast 3 1/2 day trip.
$1200! That's nothing... I spent that much on airfare alone.
Welcome to the world, my friend.

WOW!
But I bet she still hasn't made the connection...
I wish you would make that airfare comment to her...
What goes around comes around. I'm like Hanlie - I wonder if she realizes what she's just said to you. . .
too funny, maybe she'll think next time she does something like that.
I agree with Hanlie as well. I don't even think she has made the connection. Because people are funny that way.
OMG, that is too funny she said that!
(evil laugh)
I'm with Tina. And YES, you need to tell her what your airfare cost!!! I'm sure she hasn't clued in...
LOL
I agree with Hanlie - I doubt she makes the connection AT ALL.
Maybe I'm just mean, but I'd have to send her an "I feel your pain. I got the same rude awakening when I was booking my trip to your wedding."
Good call Cammy. I'd say the same thing. Some people speak before they think.
Instant karma!
